Parish Registration
Welcome to our parish family. New parishioners are asked to register as soon as possible. Registration forms are available on the pamphlet rack at St. Jude in Hampstead and in the display rack at the rear of the church in Surf City as well as at our parish office at St. Jude in Hampstead.
Formal registration in the parish as well as active participation in the life of the parish are necessary for the pastor to administer certain sacraments: Baptism, Marriage, First Reconciliation and First Eucharist as well as to write letters indicating the ability of a person to act as a sponsor for Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Registration and active participation in the life of the parish also permits to pastor to write letters of delegation for certain sacraments (i.e. Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, Marriage) to take place in another the parish.
Members who relocate or move out of the parish are requested to inform us and to complete the "Parish Census Update Form" found in the same locations as the parish census registration forms. This information allows us to notify the parish which you are joining that you are a member of the church.
